Non b/work permit question

Hey, sorry if this has been answered but I couldn't find anything.

I'm currently on my 30 day extension on my visa on arrival. The school I work at was supposed to start paper work to get my non b. As I understand I have to leave the country and get it done at an embassy abroad. What happens now? Is it possible to get it done in Thailand?

IF your school can get a 90 day Non-B visa inside Thailand, that would be great. However, if they can not, then you can apply for a 30 day extension of stay based on being a tourist, that would give you another 30 days.

If you are new in Thailand, I would make a plan B in case the job falls through.

Some schools will do it here it is just more paperwork I believe, but you have to have your TL( Teacher's Licence) too to do it. P.S Tax number as well.

Whether you can get the 90 day Non-B inside the country at the immigration office is between you the school and the immigration office. They need to see if they can meet the requirements inside the country to get the Non-B from the immigration office.
