Non b/work permit question
Hey, sorry if this has been answered but I couldn't find anything.
I'm currently on my 30 day extension on my visa on arrival. The school I work at was supposed to start paper work to get my non b. As I understand I have to leave the country and get it done at an embassy abroad. What happens now? Is it possible to get it done in Thailand?
Much appreciated
TLDR : Answer Summary
The possibility of obtaining a Non-B visa while still in Thailand depends on your school's capabilities and the immigration office's requirements. Some schools may handle the paperwork for a Non-B visa inside Thailand, but you will need to ensure you have the necessary documents such as a Teacher's License and possibly a tax number. If your school cannot secure the Non-B visa while you are in the country, you can apply for a further 30-day extension based on tourist status.
