I have this dependency visa as the father of a Thai child. Went to Chonburi immigration and they said it canโ€™t be extended.

Iโ€™m going to go changwattana tomorrow.

Previously Iโ€™ve been able to extend for 60 days.

Any ideas?

they most definitely are gonna want the child, (and the mother) with you when you apply out there AND they're gonna want a TM30 filed showing you stay in Bangkok.

Worst case you get denied a 60 day family extension and you go to Savannakhet and get another single entry 90 day Non-O based on having a thai child.

It appears by this comment "๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜€๐—น๐˜† ๐—œโ€™๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฒ๐˜…๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฌ ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐˜€." that the O/P was just trying to get a 60 day visit thai family extension NOT a one year extension based on supporting a thai child as I can't see where they asked about a year extension at all ๐Ÿ˜• .

That would be this info

they MIGHT be able to apply for a 60 day covid extension but that is at the discretion of the immigration office.
