TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about extending their 60-day tourist visa at the Jomtien immigration office two weeks after arrival. Responses indicate that Jomtien immigration only allows extensions during the last week of the visa validity period, while another commenter noted that the Bangkok immigration office allows for extensions up to 45 days before expiry. Experiences shared reveal unpredictability at the Pattaya office, with some suggesting using an agent if unable to extend directly.

I have found the Pattaya immigration office to be quite unpredictable. One time they wouldn't allow me to extend until the day before it expired.. In that case I had to use an agent.
You can likely extend at any immigration office so long as you have a hotel room booked in their district when you apply for the extension.

If you're moving on from Pattaya to Bangkok by any chance, the Bangkok Immigration Office allows extensions up to 45 days before expiry

No, you won't be able to do this.
Most offices in Thailand allow you to apply for an extension when you have 30 days or less left on your existing stamp. But Jomtien only allows tourist extensions during the last week of your stamp.
