TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the possibility of extending a 30-day visa exemption online using a barcode from the arrival card, as mentioned by Buriram immigration. However, commenters expressed skepticism, noting that as of the date of the inquiry, there was no online extension process available and questioned the clarity of the information provided. Additional queries about the requirements for such an extension, including payment methods, were raised.
In order not to start a shit storm of conjecture I'm gonna close the comments on this until I can call Buriram immigration on Monday and actually find out what's what.
At this time there is NO online extension of stay process. There are 3 things you can do online;
90 day report (if you're in an area where the immigration office participates)
make an appointment for getting a re-entry permit (Bangkok & Chiang Mai ONLY)
TM.30 (if you have a thai i/d card and get a user name).
Your arrival card is already at Immigration, you only have a departure card. But only with a bar code, big question is how to do with the needed picture, copy passport, copy admitted to stay stamp and payment?
