TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the extension possibilities for the 30-day visa exemption stamp in Thailand. Participants clarify that this stamp can indeed be extended by 30 days for 1,900 baht at an immigration office, correcting a common misconception that only a 7-day extension is possible. Additional insights include mentioning the role of nationality in extension eligibility and other options like visa runs to neighboring countries if more time is needed.
30 days can be extended by 30 days. And if you need more time, you can go pay again, and they will then give you an extra 7 days to get the fuck out of their country.
No, there is no 30 day visa and no Extension of 7 days. I guess you mean coming into Thailand without a Visa and use the Visa Exempt Entry for 30 days, this can be extended with another 30 days at any Immigration Office.
