TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your 30-day visa exempt entry in Bangkok, go to IT Square Laksi Plaza for the extension process. It's important to note that while you can apply online through the eExtension service, you still need to visit the immigration office in person to receive the extension in your passport. The eExtension process has no significant benefits over the traditional method and may incur higher fees. Based on community feedback, expect to spend several hours at the office for the entire process.

Just giving my feedback on this process. Arrived at 9am. Step 1 for document check took 2 hours. Doesnt matter if book online as you just skip the queue for step 1 but you could be 100 people behind on step2. Step 2 is another document check and payment. Step 3 is pass the passport to IO and that took another 1 hour. Step 4. Wait passport return 1.5 hours.. overall process 5 hours excluding travel time. I dont know how the evisa would work and skip queue or not. Just advice for those doing this be prepared to wait.

, thank you for the update. Sorry you have to spend long time there even had appointment. Seems you went bad day.

Some people went to the IT square office with online booking and did the procedure in 30 mins.

eExtension is totally different procedure.

Anyway glad you completed your extension.

Keep in mind the online eExtension process doesn't mean you get the extension online ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Only that you APPLY for it online.

You still have to go to the immigration office with the paperwork to get the extension in your passport.

There is no great advantage to use the eExtension program (plus it's a minimum 500 baht more for the eExtension processing fee)

If you're in Bangkok on a 30 day visa exempt entry you go to IT Square Laksi Plaza for your 30 day extension

This is the location;

You can make an appt to show up at IT Square (jump the queue) and get your extension at this website;
