Checking: if you've had a SETV and extend it 30 days, then leave the country and return on a visa waiver, can you extend that by 30 days? Thanks!!!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, if you have extended your Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) for an additional 30 days and then leave the country, you can return on a visa waiver and extend that entry for another 30 days. Each tourist visa entry or visa exempt entry can be extended once for 30 days.

You can extend each tourist visa entry OR a visa exempt entry ONCE for 30 days.

While it does give you another week, it's actually an "application for extension not approved" 7 day stamp to get out of thailand.

You can get a second extension of 7 days too. I had to do that once because of flight times. Expensive though! Another 1900 ฿ for just 7 days.
