TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is planning to be in Thailand for six months on a single-entry tourist visa (SETV) and is inquiring about the possibility of leaving the country 12 days before their current visa expires to obtain a new SETV. Other community members suggest that the user's current visa will be canceled upon exit, and they can apply for a 30-day extension in Thailand before reapplying for the new visa. The general consensus is that leaving early will not impact the new visa duration once re-entering Thailand.

I never heard of a normal triple 60 day borderjojo. But always nice to hear new definitions of a visa.

The tripple entry TV was available untill the METV was introduced. Not sure about the borderjojo though.

Maybe just do the normal tripple 60 plus borderjojo and immi-extension so he will be good for one year easy just swap points of entry or immi each time

Also they now limit 30 day visa exempt entries by land borders to TWO in a calendar year.

Umm,
@Fr***
,

There have been NO double or triple tourist visas available for thailand since Nov 13th, 2015.

They were discontinued when they came out with the 6 month multi-entry tourist visa.

The minute you exit thailand your current stamp is canceled.

Okay, you're gonna fly in on a single entry tourist visa and get stamped in for 60 days.

Then you're going to apply for a 30 day extension at the immigration office for 1900 baht. They will add the 30 day extension onto your admitted until stamp.

Then you're going to go to a thai consulate and BUY a single entry tourist visa and when you enter thailand you'll be stamped in for 60 days.

Going early won't affect the 60 days you get when you come back with new tourist visa.
