TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation centers on extending a UK passport holder's visa (setv) and whether to do it in Krabi or Koh Samui. Users suggest that Krabi is more accommodating than Koh Samui for extensions and provide details of the extension process including required documents and fees, such as passport copies, a photo, and 1,900 THB. It's also mentioned that one should ideally extend within the last 30 days of the visa validity.

If your passport is NOT filled with back to back tourist Visas and / or Exempt Entries Krabi will be fine - easy. But in recent months Krabi has been rejecting people whose passport is as I just described

From reading reports of Samui Immigration and knowing Krabi Immigration I would say Krabi is much more friendly and service minded.
