Can I enter Thailand with a non-B visa if my work permit has been canceled?

Hey guys.

I had problem with extending my work permit due to social security of one of employees and work permit extension turned from pending to canceled by the time I was outside Thailand (3 months outside)

I still have my non-b visa with single re-entry permit. Different visa companies I ask - different answers. So I ask here to 😅

1. Can I enter on this non-b visa? It was not cancelled properly because I was outside the country but according to what people say - it should get cancelled when my permit got canceled. Its 3rd extension of nonb visa with one month left.

2. Can i ask immigration at suvharhabhumi to cancel this visa and give me normal visa exemption until I make new visa?

What's better option? I don't want to pay overstay obviously as I was outside the country when it happened or any problems, just be ✅  so idea of entering the country on visa that is cancelled is meh

Did you do 90 day address reports.. The you were on an extension of stay for employment, then that B visa in your PP is useless

Once you enter Thailand you're going to need to go to the office that issued the extension and cancel it (with proof of your work permit cancellation) anyway to avoid future problems. As [mention redacted] suggested get a tourist visa before you travel otherwise you're going to have to leave the day you cancel the extension

You don't have a visa, you have a work extension. Extensions based off of something are invalid as of the moment the basis (work, marriage). Immigration is not normally informed about this, but that doesn't change the fact that the extension is invalid. You would be able to enter Thailand, but you would technically be on overstay.

This isn't a common situation for sure. You're going to need to cancel this extension once you're back in Thailand and they'll charge you for overstay regardless. You can ask about entering visa exempt. You can try applying for a tourist visa before coming to Thailand and entering on that.
