Hi! I used to live and work in Thailand but left in Aug 2021 without canceling my Non-B work Visa (work permit was canceled). I want to come to Thailand in March for a few weeks as a tourist. My question is - would I have any issues (or fine) entering the country as a tourist? As far as I know there would only be issues if I apply for another Non-B (I won't) but wanted to check if any rules around this have changed. Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
You should have no issues entering Thailand as a tourist, even with your expired Non-B work visa in your passport. The main concern arises only if you try to apply for another Non-B visa; otherwise, entering on a tourist visa or visa exemption should be fine.
Correct (y) you should have no issue at all entering the country either on a visa exempt or on a real tourist visa with the uncancelled (now expired) Non-B extension in your passport.
It'll only throw you off the rails if you go for a non-immigrant type visa and want to get an extension on it.
