from what I understand your Covid insurance needs to cover the period of your stay so 60 days or you may have problems at immigration or having your application for Thai pass rejected.
no, it hasn't been that way since January. The website still says that but your pass application will be approved and immigration won't even ask to see your insurance.
maybe as you say I arrived last Tuesday and they had people prior to immigration just scanning the Thai pass I don't recall them Checking insurance. So if the Thai pass is OK with just 30day cover then I'll save next time when I return for 3 months.
Anyway the insurance is a scam so why waste the mi
