Basically, if you don't have any recent history of entry from Camb, you don't need to worry.
But, if you fully stay here in Thailand for 90 days in a tourist visa. They might or possibly ask you what's the reason why you want to enter Thailand and might ask a few more depending on the immigration officer. Especially if you came from another neighboring country. My suggestion is, prepare an itinerary (which I saw to the foreigner that they ask last time), hotel booking and an onward ticket. And they might advise you to get a long term visa as well if they feel you want to stay in Thailand longer.
Normally you can get many exemptions as you want. But last years it seemed that many people abuse the rules of the exemption visa. So.... the immigration is checken many times and got more strict. They questioning the pattern and frequency.
In your case, after 4 days come back with exemeption....I wish you a lot of luck!!! Be prepared to get a lot of questions.
Fred Wijnands You can only enter 2 times (legally) on exemption rules in a calendar year 😉... and these days where they seem to be cracking down more or less randomly I recommend to get a proper Visa instead.. 🤔
Michael Korsgaard Andersen This is not exactly true ( already posted by Immigration, never said it ).
It depends on Immigration Officer at Airport , actually ( i just came back from Bali, and they did not asked a thing, just hi and thank you ; i visit Thailand every year , and other neighbours Countries, visa i s not on my plans, i prefer freedom ,having financial security!
then it's unlikely you will have a problem. Just make sure you have accommodation booked, a ticket out within the 60 days and 20k baht in cash (or equivalent in another major currency)
