Can I correct my nationality on my DTV visa without returning to Taiwan?
I successfully applied for the DTV in Taipei and have the visa in my passport. However, I just noticed that they have listed “TWN” (Taiwanese) as my nationality, which is incorrect. I have already left Taiwan. Can this be fixed in Thailand? I would prefer not to have to travel back to Taiwan just for this.

Immigrations won't fool with a VISA issued by a thai consulate,
ONLY the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office in Bangkok (the people who run all the embassies) can change it.
You'd have to go to the MFA office, they'd have to contact the consulate in Taipei, then correct the visa stamp for you

Thanks a lot legend! Was very stressed about it last night so I bought a ticket back to Taipei for tomorrow. Will go to the thai embassy in Taipei on Monday and I hope they can fix it on the same dayAnonymous *************

They fixed it. TWN was crossed out, DEU was handwritten next to it, and a stamp with a signature was added. Was straightforward and everything was completed today.Anonymous *************

What nationality are you? And I'd say nobody will touch it, contact the embassy you got it from.
