Hello. I am dtv holder, I am flying back to Thailand. I read in some groups that now at passport check at Thai airports, they need to see all the documentation I sent for getting the visa approved, not only the dtv paper. Is it true? And I read they are asking a lot of questions about the reasons why entering Thailand.
When I entered Thailand last time I just showed my passport and dtv paper, did they change something?
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand with a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa), many expats are uncertain about the documentation required at passport control. Some users have claimed that only the DTV paper and passport are necessary, while others suggest providing additional documentation or being prepared for questioning at the discretion of immigration officers. However, it appears that many travelers have not faced significant scrutiny or requests for documents beyond their DTV and passport. The situation seems to vary based on individual experiences and specific immigration officer discretion.
I've only seen the Chiang Mai reports of people being required to fill in a form and show 20,000 baht, but not produce a bunch of documents from their initial application.
Sometimes reading to much online is not good. If you took on board every bad experience an “alleged genuine person” you would think life was impossible.
