I wanted to apply for the DTV visa by getting physiotherapy treatments in a clinic in Bangkok… I messaged a few clinics about it and some told me they could write a treatment plan, but one told me they couldn’t give me a letter for immigration because they are a private clinic and not a big hospital.
Is there any truth to this? Have there been cases of people getting refused for the DTV visa for not having their treatments scheduled at a big hospital?
Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process for obtaining a DTV visa in Thailand may require a treatment plan signed by a qualified medical doctor. Some users indicate that while it is possible to receive a letter for the DTV visa from a dental clinic or smaller establishment, it is generally recommended to secure this documentation from a major hospital to ensure compliance with immigration requirements. The letter is to be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), rather than directly for immigration purposes. Individual experiences may vary.
From my understanding a medical doctor needs to authorize the treatment plan. I don't think a physiotherapist qualifies as a medical doctor, and why they are saying what they said.
