I want to change my Non-ED to Non-O.

- Is it possible to do it in Savannakhet?

-Do I have to cancel or change my current Visa?

- What are the required paperwork that I have to bring?

- Are all nationalities allowed to apply for Non-O?

*I'm already married, holding a Non-ED for the past 4 years and I have the 400k+ for the Visa.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is looking to change their Non-ED visa to a Non-O visa, and they have several questions regarding the process, including the possibility of making this change in Savannakhet, the necessity of canceling or changing their current visa, the required paperwork for the application, and whether all nationalities are eligible to apply for a Non-O visa. They have provided background information stating that they are married, have held a Non-ED visa for four years, and possess the required financial balance for the Non-O visa.

AS the Non ED visa does not last for 4 years I wonder what kind of Visa or Extension of Stay your are at the moment inside Thailand?

The requirement for getting a yearly extension of stay based on marriage is that you previously held a Non-Immigrant Type visa <- NOT a Non-Immigrant Type O visa ;) You did previously hold a Non-Immigrant type visa and it was a type ED. Even though you have been on extensions for 4 years you originally had a Non-Immigrant visa and that's why all you're doing is canceling your current extension based on education and applying right after that for a new extension based on marriage.

You need for TM.7 - application for extension of stay

, keep in mind that you're NOT getting a Non-O visa, so the TM.86 & TM.87 forms are NOT needed.

You are currently on an extension of stay based on study. You would take documentation from your school and go to section N (where you get your extensions) and cancel that extension. Then you would immediately go get a queue for section L and apply for a NEW yearly extension based on marriage (by meeting the requirements).

The website is down, "Required documents" section doesn't work for any category. I'll drop by Cheang Wattana this week and ask the Information Counter.

Meanwhile I'll get the wedding paper, Tambien Baan, Bank Statement, TM.86 & TM.87 ready with some passport photos.

I'll keep this post updated until the process is over.

Thank you for the help, is there anywhere I could get a list of those required documents?
Robert *******
Visit the Immigration Office in your area to make sure you got all the correct documents for the new application before you cancel your current one.

If you have the funds, you can cancel your current Extension of Stay based on Study and directly apply for a NEW Extension of Stay based on marriage with a Thai National.

It does when extended (every year) on the base of higher studies in a good university + I'm graduating and I'll request them to cancel it around early December as I'm done.
