Savannakhet is a walk up consulate There is no appointment booking or reservation procedure there.

Watch for Lao holidays <- this Monday is one and the consulates are closed there

keep in mind the consulate does NOT show on their website they offer a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa based on marriage

BUT

THEY DEFINITELY DO!! Write Multiple Entry 1 YEAR up on the top right of the application and hand them 5000 baht and make sure your receipt shows you paid that amount
