Should I apply for the DTV visa using my business documents or through a Muay Thai school with Compass?

Hi everyone!

I have a company based in Hong Kong, and I’m planning to apply for the DTV visa. Should I apply using my business documents, or through the Muay Thai school with Compass? Do both options have the same chance of approval?

Thanks for your help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is considering applying for a DTV visa and is unsure whether to use business documents from a Hong Kong company or enroll through a Muay Thai school with Compass. A comment suggests that applying through the Muay Thai school might face more restrictions, and mentions alternatives like the workation route for potentially better approval chances.

Soft power might have a higher chance of approval but many people think it’s the category more likely to face restrictions or proof of ongoing enrollment down the road to get the full 5 years. So it could end up being a more costly option. I would try the workation route and go through an embassy like Indonesia, Vietnam or Laos. Laos required and interview which can actually help you explain your circumstances, so might give you a better chance of approval.
