The ability to apply for a Thai e-visa (DTV) while traveling outside your home country is limited. You can only apply for an e-visa where the Thai embassy has implemented the system. Since Thai embassies/consulates in Malaysia do not support e-visa applications, travelers must apply in person at the embassy in Malaysia, or go to a country that allows e-visa applications.
