Can I apply for a Thai DTV visa while having no job income but sufficient savings and rental income?

HCMC in Vietnam wanted to see my bank account with highlighted income (at first I only provided statements of my savings account because no substantial amounts on current account).

I do not have any income sources but my partner pays for all our expenses.

So I sent them my current account statements and an explanation of the situation.

Even though my savings exceed the 500k more than 10x they wanted to know.

Got my DTV in April. But applied with Muay Thai course.

But as you have an substantial income to show (even not from a job) I guess you will be ok.

It very much depends on the location where you submit your application. It is always better to review real and up-to-date experiences from the current and previous months, because the situation changes frequently between different embassies and consulates.

It's not a problem as far as I can tell. I've applied for dtv via cooking school and was never asked for an income, that's what the savings are for I guess.

Income is not an issue but be prepared to show how you can support yourself for the duration of the visa, investments, savings or whatever

do not do Manila through this route they're asking for proof of income.

That's pretty similar to how I applied. Just a little more in passive income from my rental and other. Approved in Hanoi for DTV with a cooking school in Phuket back in Jan.

Should not be a problem for a soft power DTV
