Hi everyone, since I currently am on a career break with enough savings, I'm thinking of applying for a DTV and a cooking course. I meet the bank balance requirement - but I wonder if it's an issue that I have no income from a job? (I do have USD 1.3k rental income)
Any advice is appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is considering applying for a Thailand DTV visa to take a cooking course during a career break, and is concerned about having no job income but meeting the bank balance requirement due to rental income. Comments indicate that while some have successfully applied without employment income, others caution about needing proof of income depending on the location of the application.
That's pretty similar to how I applied. Just a little more in passive income from my rental and other. Approved in Hanoi for DTV with a cooking school in Phuket back in Jan.
