I just wanted to share my experience for applying for the DTV visa as a freelancer …. I applied in Da Nang (Vietnam) last Monday , 2 days later I was asked for additional documents (high lighted freelancer income on bank statements/entry stamp to Vietnam/Company registration for the agency i currently have a contract with).
I supplied everything that was asked for and just had it it approved today, so that’s 7 days in totall including the weekend. I used chat GTP to support my application , which was really efficient and made my application clear and structured. The prep was the hardest part … all in all a smooth process. Good luck to everyone else applying 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully applied for a DTV visa in Da Nang, Vietnam, sharing their experience of the process, which took seven days. They received a request for additional documents related to their freelance work, which they provided. The user mentioned using ChatGPT to aid in structuring their application, resulting in a smooth application experience. Several comments express interest in specific requirements for freelancers and inquire about financial obligations.
Can I ask what they asked for specifically as a freelancer with a company? I am in a similar situation and wondered what I would need to apply as a freelancer who works through a company ☺️
