Hello guys and girls, my original visa was a non-o visa based on marriage which I extended one time last year and now it's time again. Do I need to extend it prior to the original visa or I can do a 3 month extension before it expires and then extend it ? I have 400k I bank for quite many months, I'm just curious on this part ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster inquires about extending their non-o visa based on marriage, asking if they can apply for an extension before the original visa expires or if they must do so on or before the expiry date. Responses clarify that the extension should be done on or before the current visa expires, and highlight differences among immigration offices regarding the time frame for extensions.

Depends on the immigration office. Some allow it to be extended 45 days before the due date, others 30 days.

thx we'll better call and check then, there's no '90 days extension at the very end' and then apply anyway if I understand it correctly

i just reread your post. There is no โ€œ90 day extension โ€œ. There is a 60 day extension of stay based on visiting Thai family that you can acquire ONCE per visa. I recommend not taking that extension of stay unless you absolutely have to though

You extend it on or before your current extension of stay expires....there is no three months grace period or waiting period.
