Hi guys where do I start to get a DTV do I have to be out the country?

Or can i do it in thailand?

Mainly in phuket

I understand your confusion/hesitation as Phuket is basically Tropical Russia, but you have to be outside the borders of Thailand.

You can't apply for a via to visit a country while you're in said country.

Go to one of the neighboring countries with an embassy and apply there.

You can only apply for a DTV via a Thai consulate and they don't exist inside Thailand. Chose the consulate you want to apply through, travel to the area that consulate serves, make your application via the evisa service, and remain there until the process completes

You 100% have to be outside the country, you’ll need to provide proof of this such as exit stamp from your passport or your hotel booking. You have to be in the city of the embassy you’re applying through
