Can I apply for a DTV in Indonesia using my USA passport while in Thailand on an edu visa with another passport?
I'm currently in Thailand on edu visa learning Thai using one of two of my passports. The passport is only valid for a year. I'm planning to fly to Indonesia to apply for DTV with my other passport, my USA passport. Is this possible?
Answer summary
Yes, it is possible to apply for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Indonesia using your US passport while currently in Thailand on an education visa with your other passport. Immigration will be aware of your dual passports when you enter and exit Thailand but you can enter Indonesia with your US passport and provide the necessary entry stamp or visa to validate your location for the DTV application.

Immigration will see you have 2 passports when you scan in and out of Thailand when you use them , cross referenced by your fingerprints.
