Update: uk citizen, applied via London embassy, approved in 4 days.

Got all docs prepared. Proof of work (UK business ownership, copy of tax calculation, and recent payslips). 3-month bank statement showing CLOSING BALANCE of appropriate amount (this wasn’t seasoned) and screenshots of other non-instant access accounts to show additional funds.

We had details for flight in. Nothing needed for flight out.

No additional documents requested.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen recently shared their experience of applying for a Thai DTV visa, which was approved within four days after submission at the London embassy. The applicant provided documentation, including proof of work as a business owner in the UK, recent payslips, and a three-month bank statement showing necessary funds. They also noted that they had flight details for entry into Thailand but none were required for departure, and no further documents were requested during the application process.

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
