Can I apply for a COVID extension at any immigration office in Thailand after my non-B visa and work permit were cancelled?

Hi,

Thanks a lot in advance for your support, and very sorry if you already gave the anwser to my question ๐Ÿ™

I got my non-B visa + work permit cancelled today (and Sam Yan office / BOI company so I have a stamp until the 12th of April).

I don't have a condo anymore and only going from hotel to hotel around Thailand so I can probably get a TM30 in any city.

Do you think I can apply for the covid extension in any city ? (Phuket, Ko Samui.... ?) Or only in Chaeng Wattana ?

I'm very afraid to go to Chaeng Wattana as I never add a TM30 and I will only have the paper from my actual hotel in BKK. I thought that maybe other immigration offices might be a little more helpful and I'm not in a rush with my stamp until the 12th of April.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about applying for a COVID-19 extension after their non-B visa and work permit were cancelled. They are currently staying in hotels around Thailand and are concerned about the TM30 registration and the best immigration office to apply for the extension, specifically asking if they can do it in cities like Phuket or Ko Samui, or if they must go to Chaeng Wattana. The responses suggest that while Chaeng Wattana is the official immigration office for their situation, they can attempt to apply at other offices, but they should bring proof of their hotel stay with them.

I think you need to dial the fear level back a bit and just go to C/W. Keep in mind that the TM30 system is down right now, and that's why I said to take the receipt of your hotel with you.

I think no matter where you go you're gonna run into the "TM30 system down" thing and have to prove you stay in an area served by that immigration office. Try what ever one you want

BUT

At least going to C/W in bangkok, they'll know why you're there because Cham Churi Square doesn't fool with covid stuff..

Take the receipt of where you're staying with you and go apply for a 60 day covid extension out at Chaengwattana Immigration office (That's where you'd go because you are comin' off a Non-B visa/extension)

well you sort of are in a rush about the stamp because IF you're trying to get a 60 day covid extension you have until March 30th to apply for one before the program runs out
