Hey 🙂

I just have a normal entry stamp for 30 days, expired on 19. April.

Until 30. April its no problem if i understand it correct. But can i also go today to the immigration and apply for a renewal, pay the 1900THB and get 30 days so it would expire than on 19. May.

Or what would you recommend me ?

And another question is, I’m very confused to which immigration i have to go, i live in Bangkok Phetkasem.

Thanks for an answer, it would help me a lot 🙏🏽

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about extending their 30-day visa stamp that expired on April 19th. They were seeking to know if they could apply for a 30-day extension at immigration before their current visa expired. Responses indicated that there are two options: either wait until April 30 for possible amnesty consideration or go to the immigration office now to apply for the 30-day extension for a fee of 1900 THB. Additionally, the user requested clarification on which immigration office to attend while living in Bangkok.

okay, you have a 30 day visa exempt stamp stated until April 19th that you did NOT extend at all (as in NO 30 day regular extension and NO unable to travel due to covid-19 extension) AND you are covered until the 30th of April on the blanket amnesty without going out there.

You have TWO choices

Sit tight until the 30th and see what happens,

OR

go to the immigration office and apply for your first 30 day extension for 1900baht that will take you into May.

Those are the two choices.

If i move to the area Bang Na than its still the same immigration muang thong thani or ?

You're still in Bangkok. So you use Bangkok. OR depending on where in Bang Na you MIGHT use Samut Prakan.

IF you're in Samut Prakan's immigration office area remember you need proof of having filed a TM30 out there. :)

I’m in the same situation.

My visa wavier ran out yesterday which I picked up from the airport when I arrived on the 16th March

I’m holding out as we can’t go anywhere and see what happens on the 30th

That way if you’re intending to stay up to the 30th May you can extend possibly from April 30th for another month

However it could go on for longer

No one knows

AND you have no idea IF after you take the free amnesty extension you can still extend your entry stamp like normal or not. NO ONE knows what will happen for the people that took the free stamp versus the people who went and got 30 day extensions like normal.

We all wait and see

There is some disparity in how the immigration offices are handling the 30 day "normal extensions" at this time. Some are saying you do nothing until the 30th and see what the government says, OTHER offices are selling the 30 day 'normal' extension stamps without any issue for 1900baht.

The office you would go to in Bangkok is the Muang Thong Thani location where they moved section K (sorry for the wrong info earlier, thanx

)

You have to decide if you're gonna go out there and see if you can get the extension or not, no one can tell you what to do .. .. ..

Something to note, the counter for the 30 days extension (counter K) is still located in Muang Tong Thani (at least it still was yesterday,
