Can I apply for a 6-month DTV package and travel frequently outside Thailand?

Hey guys can I still pay for the 6 month DTV soft power packages or are they only accepting longer ones now? Please only contribute if you have very recent experience on this and have recently applied with a 6 month not just recently been accepted from a submission ages ago

Also, on the DTV is it permitted or risky or even discouraged among the community to travel a lot and spend much time outside of Thailand ie. A week in Vietnam, PH, couple weeks in Malaysia etc. Will IOs dislike that or not care? I'd imagine it doesn't matter since it's a tourist visa anyway so staying for the entirety of the permitted time per entry is not mandatory and potentially also disliked. So confusing because so much fear mongering and conflicting info here and elsewhere

Summary:

- will I still get accepted with 6 month Muay Thai or is 9 and 12 only acceptable now

- am I free to travel around and re enter multiple times per 6 month stamp

Traveling in and out and spending more time outside of Thailand is the exact opposite of suspicious behavior.

They don't want people to live in Thailand on a tourist visa, which the DTV technically is.

Get a 9 month or longer course, so your application gets approved. Then travel as much as you want.
