Hi guys. I have now seen that British citizens can get an embassy letter. My visa expires on 1st of april amd I have already extended, if I get the correct documents do I need to go on the 1st to get the full 30 days or can I go earlier and new 30days would start from the 1st ?

Currently in rayong and will be travelling to pattaya to use immiflgration at jomtiem.

Have a flight booked with ethaid for the 1st but am waiting to get the cancellation as they are not flying after the 25th

Thank you to all the team for running such a valuable service in such stressful times

TLDR : Answer Summary
A British citizen is inquiring about the process of obtaining a 30-day visa extension in Thailand, stating their visa expires on April 1st and they are looking to verify the correct procedure with the British embassy's letter. They are currently in Rayong and plan to visit immigration in Pattaya, but there are concerns about flight cancellations and the timing of the extension application.

Get the letter from the brt consulate, go to the immigration office with it use an address served by the immigration office you're applying at and get the 30 day "unable to travel due to covid-19" extension for 1900baht.

They add it to your existing expiration date.

...do we yet have any reports of an extension to the 1st extension being successfully acquired through these letters? Thaivisa forum website(where I normally look for any reports) is down for maintenance.
