TLDR : Answer Summary
The Covid Visa can be extended prior to the expiration date of September 13th. Each immigration office has different requirements for the extension; it's essential to check directly with your local office. Generally, you may apply for a 60-day extension based on being unable to travel due to COVID-19, subject to specific documentation and fees.

I'm shutting this down because this post was hijacked.

1. EACH IMMIGRATION OFFICE HAS THEIR OWN REQUIREMENT! Assuming that one immigration office has the same requirement as another is asking for trouble. ASK the immigration office what the requirements are to get a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism/ 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19.

2. FOR THE 60 DAY EXTENSION OF STAY BASED ON UNABLE TO TRAVEL DUE TO COVID-19:

Different immigration offices have different requirements, but all require the following:

1. Your passport and:

a. a copy of your data ("picture") page

b. a copy of your most recent visa (if you have one)

c. a copy of your most recent stamp

d. a copy of your departure card

2. A TM30, filed in the immigration office.

3. The forms (each immigration office may have different forms, and ant to use their special forms)

4. A letter from your embassy saying you can not return, OR a print out from your embassy website saying they donโ€™t issue the letters, OR a print out of a letter from the embassy saying they don't issue those letters.

5. 2x passport pictures

6. 1,900 THB.

Different immigration offices have different policies. *SOME* may require:

- The ID card of the property owner where you are staying

- Copies of *ALL* stamped pages in your passport

(I know 100% that the US Embassy and the UK Embassy has a notice on a website saying they don't issue the letter).

Thank you

you are allowed to stay until sept 13th <- that means you need to apply for another covid extension on or before that date and you'll get another 60 days

The current covid program runs until Sept 27th
