Looking for some advice on the Visa free possibility of extension.

Australian passport holder landing in Thailand for the first time, expecting to receive 60 day stamp.

Is it possible to pay for extension at immigration without doing border run?

Thank you in advance. ๐Ÿ™๏ฟผ

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian passport holder can apply for a 30-day tourist visa extension after the initial 60-day visa-exempt entry. This extension is granted at the discretion of immigration, and it's important to have a TM30 form ready for the application process. Unlike previous practices, a border run is not necessary if the extension is approved.

You can apply for a 30-day tourist extension, after that you would need to leave.

after 60 day Visa Exempt entry you can apply for another extension. Its up to immigration to grant it. Make sure you have a tm30. Hes a utube to watch
