Did they changed tourist visa duration recently? Just came in yesterday via Bangkok with my Korean wife and kid. They got a 3 month tourist visa and me as a German a 2 month. Thought it’s only 30 days..

TLDR : Answer Summary
The recent inquiry concerns the duration of tourist visas in Thailand, particularly highlighting differences in stay lengths for Korean and German passport holders. The responses clarify that there haven't been changes to tourist visas, but that Korean citizens benefit from a 90-day visa-exempt entry, while German citizens receive a 60-day visa-exempt entry. The situation underscores the significance of understanding the different visa categories and entry agreements applicable to various nationalities.

Korean passport holders have been granted 90 Days visa exempt entries for a long time. Hence many Koreans come and stay in Thaialnd for months at a time without the need for a visa.
No, they haven't changed anything about Tourist Visas.
What has been changed is the duration for permitted-to-stay for visa-exempt entry. Visa-exempt entries are currently for 60 days for 93 countries/territories.
All of you entered Thailans as tourists status, but None of you enter on tourist visas. You as a German passport holder entered on visa-exempt. Your family members as Korean passport holders entered on visa-waiver based on a bilateral agreement.
one more question: we leave after two month to another neighbor country. Can I come back after a month and will get one more time a two month visa exempt?
