What Are the Current Requirements for Renewing a 12 Month Extension of Stay Based on Retirement in Koh Samui Immigration?
Has anyone recently renewed their 12 month extension of stay, based on retirement at Koh Samui Immigration? Are there additional requirements now due to the Covid 19 situation? Any info appreciated as this will save me an extra trip from Koh Phangan.

There is no additional requirements to get a 12 month extension of stay based on retirement because of the COVID-19.

I just did mine in Phuket last week. By bank info(800,000) included a printed 1 year statement of transactions. Last year, all I needed was 3 months.

And that is correct, as last year you promised to keep the 800.000 Thb for another 3 months in the bank account and the rest of the year not less than 400.000 Thb. As this only can be checked after the period, you have to show it when you apply for a new Extension of Stay. Activity
