Anyone has experience with extending a Non-Immigrant ED (S) visa? If yes, could you tell me more about the procedure (when to apply for it, required documents..)?

I am a student at a German university and the internship is coming up next semester. I have after an acceptance for an internship in Thailand from August 22 and now received the feedback, the embassy in Thailand currently only allows students at a university in Thailand for an internship visa. Can anyone tell me more about this? I think it should be possible with a business-visa. I just can't imagine, especially if they relax the regulations now.

I possess Non-ED visa, which I need to cancel in the next month after being declared graduated from a university. However, I would like stay here for another six months. I have offer of internship from an office at the same university, and would like to apply for new Non-ED visa on the day of cancellation of previous visa by providing internship documents from that office. Just wondering if internship after graduation will still be considered under category of ED visa allowing me not to leave the country?

What is the other possible way to work it out?

I just applied for an ED visa, I was told it is possible to extend the 90 days at immigration in Bangkok. Last time immigration officials told me to exit the country and apply for a new visa as there was just a new head of immigration and everything became stricter.

I will be coming for an internship for an one year period, the multiple entry was not an option according to the local embassy. Anyone knows whats the latest news about extending ED visa based on internship?
