Hello!
Does anyone here have any successful experience with the Thai Embassy in Vienna when there was a problem with a visa application?
Here is my situation: I’m a recent graduate and before starting work, I decided to do an internship in Bangkok.
There are two types of visas for internships – you can see them in the attached pictures. I applied for a Non-Immigrant Visa (B) - Internship (Non-Curricular) – because I’m not a student anymore. After a few days, I received an email to upload the requested documents (also in the picture). In the first row, they wrote that my visa would be considered an Education Visa – and the second required document is a letter confirming my current student status – which I can’t provide as I’m not a student…
My hosting company and I have tried to contact them via calls and emails over the past two weeks but always unsuccessfully. Someone recommended I go there in person, but they also accept visits by appointment only – which is kind of impossible to schedule as well…
Any ideas on what I should do in my situation? Is it a bad idea to upload a file with the message I’ve been sending them as the second document?
I would appreciate any advice and successful stories as I’ve only read unsuccessful ones 🥲
TLDR : Answer Summary
A recent graduate seeking an internship visa at the Thai Embassy in Vienna encountered issues where the embassy required documents for an education visa instead of the internship visa applied for. Despite multiple attempts to communicate with the embassy, they have faced challenges in receiving a response. Recommendations include providing proof of recent student status or employing alternative documentation as a strategy to clarify the situation.
