TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires if an appointment is necessary to extend their under consideration stamp at MTT. Though the officer previously advised bringing only the passport, the user struggles with appointment availability, as all slots are full except for the 10th. Commenters suggest showing up on the stamped date if no appointment can be made and note possible holidays affecting appointments. Ultimately, the user manages to book an appointment.

If you can make an appointment, that's great. However, if you can't, my advice is to show up on the date that's stamped in your passport and see what they would do.
