Hey guys I have a colleague who has a non b Visa and wants to get an extension for a year but he is waiting for his work permit to be processed by the labour office , the problem is his non b is running out. So the question. Is it ok to use the receipt from the labour office along with the other documents and get the extension from the immigration office ?

Any updates on what's going on in Chiang Mai with volunteer visas? Has anyone been able to extend with/without a work permit?

Almost visa related..... I have a colleague who is changing jobs therefore needs to change work permit and get new visa etc. My question is can she cancel the work permit at any labor office or does it need to be done at the office that issued the work permit? You don't need to tell me the procedure for doing everything I know how it is just the office location I am not sure about.
