TLDR : Answer Summary
If you hold a NON-O visa based on marriage, you cannot legally work in Thailand without a valid work permit. Attending office orientation or training could be considered working under Thai law, which requires you to have the appropriate visa and work permit. Engaging in activities like training without the correct documentation may lead to legal issues, including penalties for illegal employment.

Sorry, but this page is to give advice.

If you can get away without correct documents is not up to us to decide, you might be more lucky than another person.

People did get cought out and will be cought for illegal working or illigal stay in the country.

Thanks, the decision is yours.

I let it it in the group, to just make it clear.

To work when you are physical in Thailand, which means if your body is in Thailand according the stamp in your passport, you need a visa that allows you to work (not stamped Employment Prohibited) and a Work Permit.

It does not matter that you qualify your work as training, orientation, probation, customers living abroad, I can use a keyboard, my boss is an alien from venus or any other excuse you make up to circumvent the Thai law.
