Hello everyone, sorry about him visa relates post 🙏🏼 I'm looking a friend of mine, she is about 89 years old English lady by the name Elizabeth Kay. She travels a lot on her own and last update was leaving to Thailand on 17 or 16 March for visa run from a fellow traveler who stayed at same hostel with her. No one has heard from her officially (emails) since 8 December. Usually she will go to Kanchanaburi for visa runs. Below pic of her with me in Cameron Highlands and her in Malacca.

Please help if anyone have seen her or knows her. Everyone back home in UK is worried. Thank you stay safe people x

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking help to locate their elderly friend, Elizabeth Kay, who has been missing since December while traveling in Thailand. Elizabeth, 89 years old, typically goes for visa runs to Kanchanaburi. The user is worried as they have not received communication from her since March. The conversation includes suggestions for contacting the embassy, local authorities, and organizations that assist with missing persons.

first of all, you need to call the none emergency UK police +44 101 , create a crime number/log, then you'd contact missing persons hotline

+44 116 000 plus her local news paper/embassy. I would also fully scan facebook for anyone who knows her, or any possible local facebook groups maybe if shes from a certain village/town. Seems odd for an 89 year old lady to be going around alone? (although she looks fit and healthy), you should also check Thai hospitals although that will be difficult without a Thai speaker plus which city.

The UK does deal pretty well with missing persons, after x amount of hours we generally will go all out and locate people, I think we say its 48 hours before the police will declare it a proper missing case and start scanning, then again as she is elderly that might be less.

Dont know if this will help but if you contact her embassy, they can find out if she has left thailand , through immigration. Perhaps she had trouble re entering on her border run with all the new daily rules being enforced. I hope she is ok.

Yes true, I left Thailand on 17 March, she enter either 6 or 17. I didn't know she was going to Thailand for visa run. Maybe I could write to British Embassy and check. She had pneumonia in Malaysia twice before was admitted. No contact since 8 Dec to anyone I'm really worried. Thank you for your advise x
