Need an advise regarding work permit and non-b visa.

My employer canceled my non-b visa extension with a stamp saying im no longer employed but kept the work-permit, he wants me to come back work for him in the future.

Right now i changed my visa to tourist visa.

1. Is it legal to cancel non-b extension and keep the work permit?

2. Will i have problems in the future?

PTPA. Hello everyone, maybe someone can help me here. I worked here in the Thai Oil project (cfp) in a subcontractor Korean company under UJV,

UJV withdrew the project because it did not pay wages.

Now that I have been hired by a new company, our problem now is that the work permit of my previous company cannot be canceled because there is no one authorised to sign the clearance, the two managing directors have both resigned. our company already has a case with the Thai labor office. Does anyone here know what other way to cancel my work permit even if there is no clearance from the previous company?

Thank you very much. I hope someone can help me here.

Hello to allšŸ˜Š

I also have a question. If my employer cancel my work permit at labor office but donā€™t cancel my Non B visa at Immigration office, would the visa still be valid until date of expiration to stay in Thailand? And would this be legal for employer and me? Just a lawyer recommended but I not 100% believe...

Normally when employer cancel Visa you need to leave Thailand immediately...

Thanks for any advisešŸ™šŸ‘

First time i read that the employee and the employer are being arrested:

Immigration police under the leadership of Pol Lt-Col Charoenpong Khantilo along with Department of Employment officials went to a school in the Don Yang sub-district of Pathiw, Chumphon in Thailand's south yesterday.

There they found a 50 year old Pakistani teaching without a work permit. She also did not have a passport.

She was charged with illegal working and illegal entry into Thailand.

The owner of the school was also arrested and charged with illegally hiring her, reported Naew Na.

Source: Naew Na.

But only one of them gets away with a fine, the other one goes in jail, visit court, goes back to Immigration Detention Center and after paying all the fines and one way air ticket she can leave the jail to go home and her name is on the blacklist between 0 and 99 years.

I read several times questions, how can i get a new Visa without the Work Permit? As you see, even when many people work without and tell no problem, it can go wrong and you do not want your photograph all over the internet.

Sooooo this whole thing with having a work permit and being able to do any job any place....Sounds too simple. My work permit is for Diving but now can I do another job even if its not diving? My lawyer tells me I need to pay him 6000 baht to include another profession...But with this new law wouldnt that be irrelevant? Not that I don't believe my lawyer but yea... I feel like hes leaving something out or i just dont understand lol

not sure if this is off topic here. my employer had the promise of getting me a work permit but asked me to start to work before the application kicked off. He then dismissed me after two weeks and refused to pay my wages. Do anyone know how shall i file a complaint against him?
