TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster has their documents ready for travel but is unsure if they need to change any details after their airline moved their flight one day earlier. In the comments, it is mentioned that a time change of up to 72 hours is generally acceptable, but the traveler should notify their hotel for pick-up arrangements. There are also discussions about changes in flight itineraries and advice on checking with airlines or immigration for detailed information.

Surely the airline or immigration could provide the relevant information.

Qatar have just told me I now have to fly MAN - AUH - HKT - BKK. Only a short stop in Phuket, hoping we don't get off the plane, but still an added couple of hours. Anyone else done this flight?

Yes, it's less than an hour at Phuket and you don't need to get off the plane or anything

Up to 72 hours difference is not a problem.
