TLDR : Answer Summary
The question revolves around whether a traveler needs to go through immigration in Cambodia for a same-day return flight to Thailand. Responses indicate that airlines typically do not permit same-day flights for this route, and alternatives like flying to Malaysia are suggested. There are also discussions about managing passport space for stamps and the use of eVisas. Overall, the consensus is that immigration processes must be followed, and it is advisable to check with airlines or immigration authorities prior to travel.

I turn off commenting, OP agreed to follow other member advise and fly to Malaysia. When you come back via airport, I suggest that you prepare THB20k to show and a onward ticket, room rental as well.

Hi Barry. It won't work. The airlines explicitly do not allow you to fly Thailand-Cambodia-Thailand in the same calendar day.

Malaysia is ok and you won't have to mess with visas.

You can apply online for an eVisa to Cambodia, which you just print out and carry with your passport - no page used.

Mr. Honour I am just curious as to why you never had the foresight to get extension pages before going on your trip?

Some countries (like UK) stopped them decades ago.

Don't know what country you're from, but I THINK some countries might give you a temporary travel document to tide you over.

I would avoid Vietnam, I think they are not used to people doing a visa run and just want to turn around in Airport.

this I not sure, but you fly to KL and get one boarding pass, in KL you go to transit counter and get your second boarding pass. My husband just did it recently.
