Hello all

I am getting a new passport while still in thailand.

How do i handle the thai side of this? What do i need to do about my current visa stamp.

The usa said they woudl provide what is needed for the thais.

I want to know how long the thai side of things will take and if i can do it here in cnx.

The dates will be close for the return of my new passport and me leaving for a neighboring country (visa is expiring).

Thanks for the insight.

Edit to add:

Thanks for the quick help. Go to know i can do it at cnx immigration right away.

Cheers

Hello

Where in Bangkok near USA embassy can I get a antigen Covid test. I know the airport but I’m afraid that it will be closed at 1030 at night.

Thanks

Can anyone give me an example of what to say in an email to the USA embassy in Chiang Mai, Thailand for 30 day coronavirus visa extension? I do not have cancelled flights. My Ed Visa expires on 4/26. I do not feel safe to travel. Please let me know what information the US Embassy is looking for in order to issue a letter. Thank you kha.

I just received my 'personalised' letter from USA embassy for 2nd extension on 30-day tourist visa, which translates to them putting my name, DOB, and passport number on the bottom of the letter. I still have some time left on my 1st extension, so no idea if this letter works, but just letting USA citizens know that 'personalised' letters are being offered.

I hope this post is okay here, My passport went through the washing machine and could be considered damaged, although no damage to the ID page and all the stamps, visa and extensions can still be read. My question is do I go to the USA embassy first or should I go to Immigration first? I read the embassy may not give it back to me and shred it. If that, than what? Thanks in advance.
