Looking for advice for obtaining US B2 visa from Thailand:
I am a Brazilian citizen and I was selected for a short course in the States in mid May. Would also visit some friends while there.
Between Bangkok US embassy and Chiang Mai US consulate, which one offers highest chance of a fast processing/issuing visa?
Also, is it recommended to hire some sort of agent to help making this process quicker?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Brazilian citizen is seeking advice on obtaining a US B2 visa from Thailand for a short course and visiting friends. They inquire about the processing times between the US embassy in Bangkok and the consulate in Chiang Mai, with comments suggesting the embassy may offer better chances due to longer processing times at the consulate and potential delays. Additionally, the poster discovers shorter waiting times in Singapore and asks about experiences with the US Embassy there.
Consider the fact everything concerning any visa for entry into the US has to be processed through the embassy in Bangkok. If you go through the consulate in Chiang Mai, everything has to be sent to the embassy for processing and approval, or denial.
