Has anyone had any luck getting in touch with the Royal Thai Embassy of New York?? I have been calling and emailing for days and have not gotten a reply. They currently have my passport and all of the required documents for a non-immigrant B visa and COE. I have permission from the Thai government to work in Thailand and my school in Thailand has been calling/emailing. I am also booked on a repatriation flight and have my ASQ booked.

Has anyone actually talked to someone from the Royal Thai Embassy of New York or been able to receive a visa/COE from them?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking assistance in contacting the Royal Thai Embassy in New York, as they have been unable to reach them via phone or email regarding their non-immigrant B visa and Certificate of Entry (COE). They are also experiencing delays in getting their passport back, which is currently with the embassy. Comments from other users suggest mixed experiences with the embassy's responsiveness, recommend visiting in person, and mention the possibility of using social media for better communication.

If they booked you on a re-pat flight you should be ok.

There is no Thai Embassy in New York, it's a consulate. The Embassy will be in Washington

Hi Bobby, I (physically) went to the DC embassy and they informed me that I had to go through the NYC consulate for my visa.

. Fair enough. I know from Australia everything has to go through the Embassy in Canberra for entry approvals. All you can do is send an email and wait for a response. When is your flight?

My flight was supposed to be today but I had to reschedule it for a few weeks later in hopes that I can get my visa, COE and passport back by then.

Have you tried checking if they have a Facebook page? The embassy near me (Argentina) didn't respond emails or phone calls but were surprisingly fast in messenger.

Not everyone lives in NY. The NY embassy serves most of the Eastern USA.

They're hit or miss. I've called them before and they answer on the first ring. Other times I still think I have emails from few years ago they haven't responded to yet.

If i had to guess I'd say they aren't working from inside the visa center at their embassy (probably still working from home). As a result the phone isn't being answered.
