Motorbike registration questions:

1.Can I legally drive a motorbike I purchased before the ownership transfer from the bike shop?

It's currently registered and insured by the owner.

2. For a certificate of residence; I need to submit the TM30 documents..

Will a hotel receipt suffice, or is a rental contract required? I'm in the process of looking for a permanent residence.

I'm staying on a retirement visa, but relocated recently to another province.
