Does my landlady need to notify immigration if I extend my staying permission?

Another quick question please.. extending my permissions to stay tomorrow.. I have the tenancy agreement from my landlady to show as proof of residency. But does my landlady have to notify immigration 24 hours before I stay in her property?? I might add that I've been at the same property for 4 years. Last time I just stayed in a cheap hotel one night before I went to immigration. And showed them the receipt as proof of residency.. which I know is fine. If my landlady does need to notify them. Then won't bother checking in a hotel for a night.
