Short version: What are the current recommendations on local embassies/consulates that will process Non Imm B visas with minimum hassle/fuss and what documents do they require for a teacher?

Long Version: Just had Pathum Thani immigration deny to process a Non Imm B for an employee. When we checked with them last week they said he needed translated and certified diplomas. This week when we went to submit they added translated and certified transcripts to the requirements. Our guy doesn't have enough time left on his visa to get these and still have the Non Imm B processed here. P.T. Immigration suggested doing a land border hop to Cambodia to get 30 days and then they can process it - but I've heard Cambodia is difficult now and I'm worried the requirements could change again and don't want to get burned twice. So now I'm planning to send our employee to one of the area embassies and have the Non Imm B done there. I know Vientiane used to be the go to place but it sounds like things have gotten to be more of a hassle there. Where is the new place to go? Savannakhet? Vietnam? Burma?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking recommendations for embassies or consulates that can process Non Imm B visas with minimal hassle, particularly for a teacher facing difficulties with local immigration. After encountering issues with the Pathum Thani immigration office, including changing document requirements, they are considering sending the employee to a different country for processing. The user inquired about the best locations, specifically asking if places like Vientiane, Savannakhet, Vietnam, or Burma are suitable options.

Now IF you're gonna send them to a thai consulate in another country to get the Non-B you're gonna hafta look on the website of the consulate you're thinking of sending them to, so you can see the requirements at that specific consulate. They are not all the same.

okay, so there's no problem getting the Non-b from the immigration office the problem is that the person doesn't have enough time left on his current entry stamp to do it.

As long as they don't have two 30 day visa exempt entries by land so far this year they could bounce out and back to get a new 30 day visa exempt entry.

Have them avoid the Aranyaprathet - Poi Pet land border with Cambodia (use Ban Laem or Ban Pakard and they'll be okay) OR depending on their nationality send them to the Phu Nam Ron border with Burma in Kanchanaburi.

Then just have them apply for the Non-B in country

I'm just worried that if I do this the goal post will change again. Seeing as last Friday they told us our documents were all good except for some documents from the education department but then this week they added certified transcripts to the list. Is there anything preventing them moving the goal posts again? (When we asked them about this they just pointed at the girl who talked to us last week and said blame her).
