We are scheduled to get our non-o visa issued on Sept 15. Any idea what the 15 days is for? If the application is accepted is it ever rejected during processing and for what?
Anyway, apparently the 90 days of the non-o visa starts on the day of application. I do think I've read in here that the time starts on the day of application for a new visa, and it starts at the end of the current stay for an extension.
These are certainly questions we will ask at immigration on our next visit, but does anyone know if we can apply for the retirement extension at any office, or does it have to be at the same office the non-o was issued? I understand the 3 day before limit is no longer policy, so how early can we apply for the extension? I think I've read 45 days early. What are the documents required for the extension? If we are able to apply at Jomtien, that's likely where we will be.
Thanks for holding our hands on this again.
